We came to Kuta , Bali imagining crowded streets, aggressive vendor markets and an over occupied beach around New Years. What we saw and experienced was a quiet corner of Kuta, very calm street side stores with their sellers eager to strike a deal but not bargain much. The beach was crowded on 31st Dec between 9:00 pm - 2:00 am but thats expected. This trip was for our kids and for us to re live our Bali honeymoon. After searching and comparing several hotels in Kuta, we finalized Ramayana and the hotel exceeded our expecations in evert possible way. The Hotel Lobby is simple and elegant. The staff are extremely pleasant and responsive. The Pool was a cool place to be in , both day time and the evenings. We didnt have breakfast as part of our plan so I dont know how was the experience but the settings looked tempting always The have a fabulous sports bar but we didnt get a chance to go there. The kids area is nice and safe for kids to stay , in case the parents are away for a while. We got a New Year Eve's Dinner voucher from Al Dente restaurant which was a pleasant surprise. The dinner experience was awesome with vegetarian options included. The staff was all decked up and they made sure all women and girls also tried the glamour patches. Lots of good music and dancing there ! The Hotel is near the Kuta beach which I found to be pleasantly clean and quiet. For early morning walkers, it was clean as well The Spa was clean and hygenic. The massage for my wife was excellent and rejuvinating. Pity , we got only 1 slot in 4 days. I highly recommend families to consider this property and location . The beach is quieter and less crowded as compared to other places I saw. There are options for water sports but we didn't have time so maybe other visit, another time in future.

The location was fine, it takes about 15-20 minutes to walk to central city of Kuta. The breakfast was good, but it would be beneficial to include gluten free options such as yoghurt, bread, noodles etc. The room was adequate but could use improvements as it appears outdated. The staff are friendly and provide excellent service.

Lovely breakfast everyday included in the room price, fresh fruit, assorted pastries, eggs cooked to your liking and traditional Indonesian cuisine all available everyday

The location was very well appointed, walking distance to everything we needed otherwise a short taxi ride/drive to anything else we couldn't or didn't want to access on foot. The amenities were great, everything we needed on hand. Our room was extremely spacious and the beds were prefect for us. Bonus points for the pillows, they were XL sized but so comfortable. I suffer from migraines and almost never sleep on pillows provided by accommodations, however these were a dream. The room was somewhat 'tired' if you will. but this sort of thing doesn't bother us. The pool was super clean, very well maintained and the daybeds were great. We absolutely loved the bar/lounge area right next to the pool. We were able to order (on site restaurant) food and drinks at any time the pool was open. More bonus points for the music selection, it was so relaxing. We loved the onsite restaurant and were very happy we made the choice to take the daily breakfast option. "Bali Belly" did enter my mind when selecting this buffet option, however all hot options were freshly cooked, cold and fruit selections were kept chilled and water/milks/juices were all separate to allow people to make their own choices. Nobody from our group became unwell at any point in our stay at Ramayana and we ate breakfast/pool service/dinners daily. The restaurant and menu is exceptional, no negative feedback whatsoever. The highlight though, was absolutely the staff. So calm, accommodating and happy to help with anything. They are the best asset of this accommodation.

Modern with a traditional vibe. Pool area was stunning and great for the kids. Everything you need was right at your finger tips. Gym, laundry, m mart just outside. Variety of restaurants in the resort as well as being able to walk out to the streets and have many many options as well. Very central to Kutas amazing chaos, yet quiet in the resort. Planning our next visit!

Pros: • Well located close to beach, shops and market • Wide range of food at breakfast and all tasty • Very nice gym with good equipment and A/C • Lovely pool area • Nice check in area and quick service • Handy and well equipped business centre with yummy food on offer • Hotel gave us upgraded room which was nice. • Bed very comfortable

The location of the resort was great close to shops restaurants, banking facilities and Spa’s. The breakfast was delicious plenty to choose from and never had to wait for food as it was always being topped up. My room was both spacious and comfortable. It was only noisy due to inconsiderate guest who insisted on shout to one another in the middle of the night. This is no fault of the resort.

This is an older, but very well maintained hotel that is like an oasis in the center of Kuta. It has well established grounds and a relaxing atmosphere. The beach is a short walk away and there are many good eating options close by. The Waterbom Park is an easy walk away for the family. We had a family suite which was very comfortable.

The property is set in the heart of Kuta, it’s a great location for shopping, the beach, food and more. The staff were great working around the clock to ensure a great stay. The pool is very big and refreshing. The pool bar is great too! Breakfast is a bit manic at rush hour but that’s to be expected. A good selection of western, cultural and vegetarian dishes along with pastries.
